Accommodation
The organizers have arranged the following special discount prizes in the Hotel Academia and Hotel Kontakt when booking the accommodation through the organizing committee before March 31st.
- Hotel Academia; double room with single occupancy: 50 € per night (breakfast included)
- Hotel Academia; double room with double occupancy: 60 € per night (30 € per person, breakfast included)
- Hotel Kontakt; double room with single occupancy: 120 € per night (breakfast included)
- Hotel Kontakt; double room with double occupancy: 150 € per night (75 € per person, breakfast included)
There is only a limited number of rooms in Hotel Academia, which will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Travel
Stará Lesná is a small village located in the middle of Slovakia as one of the beautiful High Tatra’s places. You can travel to Stará Lesná from the east (Košice) or west (Bratislava) part of Slovakia with a one-transfer point at Poprad-Tatry.
From Košice (train/coach main station) to Poprad-Tatry (train/coach main station) you can use
• trains from the main train station: we recommend using the faster InterCity (IC) or Express (Ex) trains. The detailed timetable with the possibility to purchase a ticket is available on the webpage https://www.zssk.sk/en/. Alternatively, the train ticket can be purchased at the train station. The price for a one-way ticket is around 6,30 Eur and the average journey time is around 1 hr.
• long-distance buses from the central coach station ◦ The regional long-distance buses depart at 7.00 pm from station No. 1. The ticket purchase is realized by the bus driver with a price for a one-way ticket around 7 Eur. The average journey time is around 1 hr. ◦ The Flixbus company with depart from the central coach station at 7.00 am and 5.20 pm. In this case, online reservation and ticket purchases are required via their webpages. The one-way ticket for the former case is around 6 Eur and the average journey time is around 1 hr 40 min. The one-way ticket for the latter case is around 9 Eur and the average journey time is above 2 hr.
Central coach station and the main train station in Košice as well as Poprad-Tatry are located very close, only 3 minute’s by walk.
From Bratislava to Poprad-Tatry (train/coach main station) we recommend using
• trains from the main train station: we recommend using the faster InterCity (IC) or Express (Ex) trains. The detailed timetable with the possibility to purchase a ticket is available on the webpage https://www.zssk.sk/en/. Alternatively, the train ticket can be purchased at the train station. The price for a one-way ticket is around 21 Eur (IC) and 15 Eur (Ex) with the average journey time around 3 hr 30 min. (IC) and 4 hr 30 min. (Ex).
From Poprad-Tatry to Stará Lesná you can use
• the regional transport by trains (TEŽ) and buses. The price for a one-way ticket is around 2 Eur. The ticket for the bus is purchased from the bus driver, whereby the ticket for the train is purchased inside the train station.
• For participants arriving on Monday, May 22nd and departing on Friday, May 26th, we will arrange the shuttle service from Poprad to Stará Lesná.

From the Ferenc Liszt Airport to Košice
For the transfer from the Ferenc Liszt Airport (Budapest, Hungary) to Košice (Slovakia), which is a distance of around 260 km with an average journey time of 3 hours and 20 minutes, we recommended using
• The international coach Flixbus. The one-way ticket is around 24 Eur
• Shuttle bus transports CassoviaExpress or Izijet. The one-way ticket is around 54 Eur
In both cases, online reservations and ticket purchases are required. The ticket purchase as well as the station information are available via the web pages of both companies.
From the Airport Košice
The international airport Košice (Slovakia) is located very close to Košice city, around 10 km. For the transfer from the Airport Kosice to the train main station or central coach station you can use
• The city transport, bus No. 23 a periodic departure once per each hour from 05:09 am to 10:09 pm. The bus stop is in front of the airport building. The 30-minute ticket (0,90 Eur) can be purchased in the ticket machine.
• Taxi with an average price 20 Eur.
• If you come as a group of more than 4 people, please contact the organizers by email in order to provide the individual car transport.
From the Vienna Airport – Schwechat to Bratislava
For the transfer from the Vienna Airport-Schwechat (Austria) to Bratislava (Slovakia), which is a distance of around 60km with an average journey time of 1 hr, we recommend using
• The international buses as a direct connection • Eurolines (every 60 minutes). The one-way ticket is around 8,90 Eur. • Flixbus, (every 60 minutes). The one-way ticket is around 4,99 Eur. • RegioJet, (every 120 minutes). The one-way ticket is around 5,99 Eur.
• The trains as an indirect connection with a transfer to Vienna downtown. An average journey time is around 2 hours and a one-way ticket price is around 20 Eur. • ÖBB
• Taxi with an average price of 180 Eur.
The final destination of each international coach is the Bratislava (AS) – central coach station, which is distanced from the main train station by around 1 km. To approach the main train station we recommend using the city transport using a 30 min. ticket (0,90 Eur).
